A turning point came when Rtn. Govindarajan Kannappan, President of Rotary Orion Gateway, stepped in with his technical expertise. Recognizing his talent, Govindarajan was appointed District Director of Vocational Service to lead the project. With his deep experience in app development, he became the driving force behind the project.
After weeks of collaborative effort and thoughtful development, the ROBIZ App was launched- a powerful and user-friendly platform that connects Rotarians from India and across the globe to promote business ethically and effectively within the Rotary family.
Importantly, the app is owned and managed by the Rotary District 3190 Incubation Trust, a not-for-profit trust. Any surplus generated is directed exclusively toward The Rotary Foundation and its service projects, ensuring that the spirit of “Service Above Self” remains at the heart of this initiative.
